Hi-
I am new to the board too, but have been looking at everyone's posts for a while. I have a similar situation to jjello. My hubby had a vasectomy after his second child w/ his ex. Did the reversal thought it worked but did not. So we are at the point of doing IVF w/ ICSI. My first attempt I got pregnant but miscarried a week after my levels kept dropping. Had no reserve eggs. This was at Christmas time which is the worst time to go thru this and ended up miscarring over vacation, fun. Not. Anyhow, finally convinced my hubby to try again. He felt that since it did not work the first time that we were done, but I wanted to try again, he didn't he has two kids, 17 & 14. But I am 36 yrs old and never had kids and want one. So after 8 months of back and forth and therapy we have decided to try again. This time the Dr. used different meds to try to get me to produce more that 6 eggs. Well I got 4. I was totally bummed, I cried when I got out of the retrieval on Friday, Sept. 2. But out of the 4, 3 fertilized. They were all 8 celled and grades 2, 3 and 4. I have an appt on Monday the 12 for the pregnancy test. But I have to say that I don't feel any different. Last time I had cramps the entire time for the two week wait and this time nothing. I scared and don't want to even go Monday. I told myself not to do a HPT this time as I did the first time and it was positive and I was pregnant but I don't want to Jinx myself. The wait is the WORST. As I feel this will be my last attempt at this not sure I can put myself thru the emotions again...plus the cost. I just want to you all to know that you are very inspiring. Missy and Leslie...I have watched all your posts...and feel a little Missy in the fact that I was going backwards, especially when I would go look at the progress of my follies and there would not be much change. I have 4 pop up right away then 4 late bloomers, but only walked away w/ 4. I have all 3 embies in my now, waiting and hoping. Sorry this is so long but I toyed around w/ getting on line or not. I feel better getting it out and knowing people are out there just like me. My clinic also has a support group that meets the first Thursday of every month, I go tomorrow. It has been very helpful. Allison, Thanks for sharing you story. You've come along way. I really hope it works this time for you. I keep hearing that every pregnancy has different symptoms and signs. The wait is the worst part as far as I'm concerned. It sounds like your fertilization numbers were great and that the embryo's looked great too-very good signs

I will be waiting to hear your news Monday-I hope it is wonderful.
