Default How much heartbreak can one person take?

Well everybody, they say to have a baby is to have your heart go walkin' around outside of your body forever (some famous Sharon somebody-or-other said that). In my case, my heart is just broken in two, barely beating inside of my chest. My favorite RE was there today and personally called to tell us it was a big f'in fat negative (BFFN!!). She told DP she's "devastated and disgusted" and can't understand why this didn't work. She said is was a textbook perfect cycle. It actually took them forever to call. DP had to call and find out what was going on. My RE apologized for making us wait and said she didn't want us to hear this from a nurse. Of course, that made me cry even harder. We just absolutely love her. She even told DP I could page her if I needed her.

I guess it's back to the drawing board and we are going right back into another fresh cycle before my insurance runs out. I'll be starting bcp's in about a week when AF comes. We still have our 7 frozen blasts and maybe we can add a few to that for some future frozen cycles. We're also going to consider using DP's uterus and my RE said she would try to move her "new" patient appt. up for us and get her in sooner than later. I am also considering after this next fresh cycle getting the fibroids removed if that one doesn't work. I'm gonna try IVF about 3 more times. Insurance should pick up at least 1 more, so I'm just gonna go for it.

To say I'm devastated is an understatement. I seriously don't know how I am going to get through my days............

Devastated is a good word for this. I can only imagine your pain, and I am so terribly sorry, Maddy.

Please know that many here, including me, care very much about you and we're all thinking about you.
