Default its finally starting

Hi everyone, I am on cycle day 1 today so tomorrow i start the pill for 21 days, on day 18 i will start Lupron shots. I know its the long cycle but I have been waiting for today for so long! I have a really positive outlook on things, my husband and I just moved in last week to our new house and things are going great. Everything in our life has been unusually great lately, so hopefully in 6 weeks i will say the same things. I did have to have a biopsy yesterday, ouch, because i had precancerous cells in a recent pap. So the clinic almost delayed me a month, but they now said to start pill and wait for the results. Doc yesterday said everything seemed fine and did not foresee any issues. I am a bit nervous about shots and all, but excited to get process underway! I found out my sister who did IVF is having two girls. She has a 23 month old girl now, so threee girls under the age of two. WOW! Well hope everyone is good and if anyone is starting soon lets keep in touch!
Diane

Congrats

Diane, I am happy you are getting ready to start. I am on CD 4, and I know how exciting getting things started is. We also closed on our 1st home 15 Jul 05, so I feel your new house excitement also. H&G is our new favorite channel. I am glad things are going well for you, a positive outlook is one of the things that helps in an IVF cycle. I hope your biopsy results come back well. Don't worry about the shots, after a while they become second nature. I am excited for you and can't wait for your updates. Wishing you the best and a succesful cycle.

Good Luck Diane!!

I know what you mean about waiting for the day to come. I'm starting my 2nd ivf cycle as soon as AF gets here in about a week or two. And I CAN'T wait. It is all so exciting. This time around I'm jumping right into stims (skipping the lupron - I may have been oversuppressed) so I don't know what to expect this time around.

I guess we may be cycle buddies. Keep in touch!

I'm sending positive vibes your way Diane! Don't worry about the shots-at least the stimulation shots...the needle is tiny and I can't even feel it so far. I did have one (out of the 7 so far) that left a bruise...I think I hit something strange...but even that didn't really hurt. No weight gain or mood swings yet either...the first 4 days... I was moody while on the pill, but without it I feel great. I go in Tuesday am to monitor my progress and the retrieval is planned for the following week, so I'm just a few weeks ahead of you...
