Default IUI today and a surprise!

I went in for IUI today, all went well sample count was 18 million( not bad), and we got to watch the whole production via u/s on that lovely monitor I already told you about. They had one nurse do the procedure while another did the abdominal u/s. It was really wierd because you could see the speculum going in and everything. I think the nurse doing the u/s was about to crack up because the other nurse was having a hard time getting it in.

Now for the really exciting news that shocked the heck out of me. Before the procedure, the lab lady came in to show us the info from where they recieved our units. I still hadn't confirmed #'s and she wanted to give me the chance to see everything for myself. So she brings out this paper that should have said they recieved 8 units and such but here's the funny thing, it says they got 16 units. 16! We only bought 8! How'd that happen? The only clue I have is that somewhere on the paper work it says 16 straws for 8 IUI msybe the other clinic doubled up? I don't have the slightest idea. But, at least I now know why our old clinic was always wanting to charge me a storage fee for more units than I thought we had.

Anyway, I'm off to the 2ww.
