Default Laxative (TMI, sorry)

Does anyone know if you can take a laxative during the 2ww? I know this may be too much information, but I am really consipated. My pharmacist said Senekot S should be OK.... but if there is any possibility that it could be harmful.... I won't take it. I will suffer the pain.

You poor thing!! I have heard of that stuff and I think my RE once told me that if I got constipated I could take it, too. Drink a TON of water and eat a lot of fiber.

I'm not sure what Senekot S is, but I've taken Metamucil a few times and it seems to work much better than a heavy duty pill. It's just fiber- tastes pretty bad...but oh well!!!

I would think that it would be fine, but you might try natural things first like LOTS of water and prunes.
