  • We have a DS from a CLI donor who is no longer in the program, I called the bank and they have a waitlist but its only possible to get a vial if someone is storage decides the give there's up. I so don;t want to pick another donor but I don't know what to do. I'm sure the chances of someone giving up a vial or two anytime soon is slim to none. I also checked DSR but there's no listings on there. Any other suggestions?

  • I don't think there is anything that you can do to get someone to give them up except perhaps putting your own request on the DSR.

Actually, I just parted with my 4 vials of DS that we had our our RE's clinic. I found a woman in FL who needed this donor and since he's no longer an active donor, I made her VERY, VERY happy. I'm now keeping in touch with her (she even sent us a Xmas card!) just in case one of my 7 frozen embies every decide to stick. Good luck!!! I hope that you can find your donor.
