  • I finally saw the RE and had an u/s yesterday (Wednesday). I have a 36x27 cyst that is VERY active. My lining looks great at 11. I had blood drawn to see if I O'd or not, and my P4 level was only 0.5 (so no O) but estradiol was at 384.

I guess that explains why I have had copious CM for the last week or so.

The RE has out me on Prometrium to try and bring up the P4 to bring on AF. I asked her about BCP, but she said that they will only stop the cyst from getting any bigger and will not shrink it. Also, at my age and weight she does not want to put me on BCP's. So I wil take 400 mg of Prometrium for 10 days, and hopefully

will show. The RE does not think that the cyst will be gone by then, so I will have to wait until the cycle after that to even think about starting. If it's still there by then, then I may have to have it surgically removed, but the RE says that she very rarely has to surgically remove cysts that are as active as this one.

I just hope that the next cycle is not as long as this one. I am beginning to get a bad feeling about this.

  • What a bummer!!! Sorry to hear that you have to wait it out, and I hope that it goes away sooner rather than later.

    Good luck,
    smk
