Default Needing IVF advice

My husband and I have finally made the decision to go ahead with IVF. We have been trying for almost 3.5 years to get pregnant, have tried many different meds and ways of getting pregnant, including 3 failed IUIs. I am very anxious and excited about this next step, but nervous is definitely in the background. I would appreciate any advice anyone can give about the next month and a half. What to do, expect, things to help stay relaxed and help with making this cycle successful. Thanks to all that reply! Babywishes to everyone trying for a baby!

That's a big decision. Our second round of IUI worked so we didn't have to move to IVF so I don't have any experience. But I do know about the excitement as well as the nerves that go into ART and I wish you lots of luck going forward!

My advice is to learn all you can about your specific cause of infertility, and exactly how IVF would help. Knowledge is power in all things, including infertility. In our experience, the more we read and understood, the less stressed we were, and hence the more likely to conceive.

Good luck to you.
