Unhappy New Dr. put me on a break..

The new doctor was wonderful and full of great advice.

He suggested using BC pills for 2 cycles to give my ovaries a break (also to keep my cycles regular), then we'll start FSH shots on the 3rd cycle (Sept.).

In my mind, the break is good since I'm having minor surgery in July to remove a fatty lump from my back just above my waist that appeared last year after starting the glucophage. So there's one cycle.

My heart aches though, I cried for an hour Friday then got home to find a Huggies sample in my mail that set me off again.

The doctor rold us that the break would help insure that my ovaries would be reactive to the FSH shots and also help improve my lining that the serephene/clomid was effecting.

Thanks ladies for all your support.

Hoping the summer flies by for you - the waiting is so hard I recall clearly as while using the high dose injectibles we had to wait out every other cycle!!!

I HATE those samples. They always seem to come at the worst possible times. I think the break will do your body good, and although the wait is hard, success is in sight!

Not ovulating is supposed to make the FSH shots work better? I have not ovulated since early December; I should have been off the charts on 4 amps of Bravelle!

I hate breaks as well, but hopefully the time will go fast. It sounds like we may be starting back up at about the same time. GOOD LUCK!!
