Hi Crissy. My clinic stats depended all on age. I'm 40, got 25 year old donor eggs, got 11 embies, put in 2 the first time (fresh cycle) didn't work, put 3 frozen in the second time and am pg with one baby. I feel pretty lucky because a lot of women have tried a lot longer than me. I'm also lucky because now I'm BROKE and would of been able to do any more cycles anyway. The shots are scary but after about three times you'll be doing them yourself in your sleep!! I actually like doing them myself better now. For some reason it hurts less and I like to just get it over with. My friends kids are starting high school. Good news is they can babysit for me! You're pretty dang young so don't you worry! Missy, my sister had twins too! Identical. Leslie

Leslie,

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! That's good news and very nice to hear. When are you due?
I just went to an injection class yesterday with my hubbie. I was kind of freaked out. I guess it's like you said though, after you experience it first hand then you'll become more relaxed about it. I'm not getting my first Lupron shot until next Sat. which will be day 12.....does that sound like the same amount of days that you started injections??

Anyway, best wishes again and Happy 4th! Today is my two year anniversary, so I'm going to go out with my husband and try to have fun and think positively. Thanks so much for the encouragement. I hope I'm following in your footsteps real soon!

I'm due Feb 20 but I look like I should be due in November! The shots do bloat you out a little. The Lupron shots are the easiest because the needles are so teeny. You'll do great. Day 12 sounds perfect. Happy Anniversary and have lots of fun. Can't wait till you get all knocked up. You'll do great!! Leslie

Crissy, I had to wait 14 days and had a HCG of 667. That was a Thurs. so we had to wait till Monday for the second HCG which was 4611. Everyone was so convinced we had twins that at the u/s we were totally baffled there was only one. I know that sounds weird to say only one because it's what I've been wanting for the last 20 years!!! It will be way easier for me too. I'm "high risk". Anyway, feeling great. The morning sickness really is this overwhelming hunger. Either eat or die feeling. But that's it. My biggest (eh hemmm) symptom is my boobs. They are enormous and sore. I'm normally quite flat so the new girls are a bit of an oddity. I'm glad for them though, they make me feel PG!! I also can't eat salmon or spicy food, my previous staples. All I want is milk, fruit and chocolate. Anyway, you're almost there, just keep your great positive attitude and you'll be awesome!! Leslie
