  • Leslie,
Just started Lupron yesterday, and you were right it really wasn't that bad. The only thing that worries me is the list of all the side effects. Also on the internet there's alot of negative info about it. Did you have any problems with it?

  • The first time I did Lupron I got awful headaches because you're basically getting rid of all your estrogen. My Dr. told me to take Tylenol and hang in there, estrogen is on it's way. The second time I felt fine. I decided after reading the side effects of about two prescription inserts just to throw them away without looking at them. Just WAY too scary. My RE said that the info on the progesterone is for synthetic and that they consider synthetic and natural the same (you'll be on the natural) but it's not true so side effects are WAY different. I just decided since I was putting myself in these people's hands, that have done this a million times, that I would just go with it and trust them. It was very hard for me to do because I've never had a Dr. (always a Natropath) and never have taken any type of meds, other than herbs, never had any meat, dairy, etc.... and have change my WHOLE life to do this. Anyway, hope you get through the Lupron ok. It's not for that long and it's kind of getting exciting now that things seem to be moving along after waiting so long eh??? Leslie

  • It is getting exciting! I feel like I'm on my way!!

I know what you mean about just throwing the pamphlet away......there's so mcuh that they list that can happen. I'm not one for meds either I usually like to treat things naturally, but we really don't have a choice do we? I guess you just have to hope for the best. The one thing is that I feel pretty tired about an hour after the injection, but that could be stress. Oh well.....
Thanks for the info Leslie, I'm just praying that all this hard stuff will have a very sweet reward!!

    Have a good night.
