  • Hi....I am pretty much all set except for 1 car seat. I was very fortunate to get just about everything I needed. I am so happy for you that you get to leave there...what a nice way to spend the remainder of your pg (away from the hospital). I had a pretty traumatic day. Boy, let me tell you....just when you think you have nothing left to worry about, something else happens! I went 2 weeks ago for an ultrasound and both were doing wonderful. I went today and Isabelle turned into a trouble child. Her fluid level dropped drastically so now she is borderline (too low/normal) and her weight gain just about came to a screeching halt. She went from 2lb, 7 oz. to 2lb, 11oz. in 2 weeks (which they said wasn't much). Her brother on the other hand is doing amazingly well. He has plenty of fluid and he went from 2lb., 10oz. to 3lb, 10oz. They weigh a full pound apart. I go for another u/s next week and they said that will tell them alot more. If she loses any more fluid or stops growing , they are going to have to do something about it. whether that be hospitalization or to get them out. I'll tell you, this is not easy! Glinda.....did you have this happen with your twins?

  • Oh my Gosh Missy! I'm so sorry you're having to go through this...the way you described it sounds really scary...did the Docs seem concerned or is this fairly normal for one to have a growth sput and the other be taking it easy??? If she looks similar next week, what are the treatment options? I'll be saying some prayers for you.

  • My friend that just had her twins the boys were a pound difference and the little guy had to go to NICU for the night. His blood sugar was low. I had my fluids checked to day, and once a week now and they said if it goes too low they take the baby out.
Hang in there. Mine went from too hight to too low to just right. They've got their eye on you so no matter what it will be ok.! Keep up that positive attitude.
PS I get my stitch out at my Dr's clinic in two weeks from today. Yippeee L

  • I am getting out. I'll try and behave but right now I could skip to the car. I didn't have any contractions at all with the walking around so it's confirmed. I'm leaving!! Yea!!
