Good Luck on Monday!! Oh geez the headaches were awful. Seems like clomid made me much more crazy, but femera makes me much sicker. Odd stuff, I feel a great deal of sympathy for cancer patients who have to take it for more than 5 days, though I think for them, eventually the side effects lessen or go away because they do take it continually and the body adjusts.

I'd not heard anything about my file getting "tagged." RE is pretty current on all the latest med treatments. I think Femera has only been used for fetility treatments for 3 years (compare that to clomid with 20-30 yrs. under it's belt), and is not publicised as being a fertility drug at all. Might still be in the sort of experimental phase???? If you go to the companies website, there is no mention of it as a fertility drug. But plenty of warnings againt using it in women of child bearing age. The way my doc explained that is that if you are pg and take the stuff it will do seroius damage to the fetus. However, taken like clomid for only 5 days early in your cycle, it has no effect because the drug leaves your system completely before you ovulate, that's one of it's advantages over clomid.

I can't imagine that it would really keep you from getting insurance, make it a little difficult with having to explain yourself, Maybe. But what do I know
Too bad there's not an insurance guru on the boards.
