Default O/T Weekend Plans - DD ment'nd

Ok - in an effort for distraction

We are off!! Heading North to my parents with a 2 year old and 2 dogs (one who I think plans on
in the car)

We are staying there for 3 days and just enjoying our family - I might get to play a little golf and relax while Step Mom watches DD. She is so excited to go see them.
What a riot.

My folks already have 3 dogs and no children at home any more. So it will be run around and keep DD from breaking everything. Plus not drinking their cleaning stuff.

I will also get to meet my Sister's Fiancee this weekend.

They are getting married on Dec 18 (my dad's b'day) - the plans are running wild
Option 1) Wedding in Jamaica (nuts -- we can't go and my other sister and 3 kids can't go) So that would be fine but little sis (LS) needs to know the whole family can't go. Luckily I think the cost of just the immediate group was outrageous so maybe this option is out.
Option 2) larger wedding local - LS wanted all of us in the wedding both sisters and DD to be the flower girl. I reluctantly agreed - just not my thing but if she wants it we will do it.
Option 3) very small wedding and larger honeymoon (ie Jamaica) Thinking this may be the plan but it seems to change daily
No bridesmaids and just having a small family gathering.

In the end it doesn't really matter to me what option they will choose - I just want her to be happy and enjoy the wedding

So I get to meet them and hear all this first hand this weekend.

Plus if I am not family'd out by then, we have the annual DP's family gathering on Sunday - that is definitely always a blast and I love being around them.

So after my long winded note - I will touch base with you all on Monday

Have a great Labor Day in US and CA
