I have been trying now for 2yrs. I did take a 1 year break just to get the head and finances together. I am on 50mg clomid and am doing an IUI on Tuesday. This is # 7 -- and I am hoping 7 is the lucky number for me.

All of this is in my signature: We did 5 IUI's (one got me pg, but ended in an ectopic). 14 cancelled IUI's out of 19 due to a blocked tube (no tube post ectopic). First IVF was a BFP and ended in m/c at 7w1d. Did FET w/remaining 2 blasts resulting in a BFN. We are now about to embark on fresh IVF #2 ( lupron, gonal f, and repronex ). Retrieval will be sometime at the end of Sept. with a tentative transfer on 10/1 or 10/3.

We also started down the path to adoption through the county. DP and I just went to a bbq with folks from a previous P.R.I.D.E. class this weekend and every single one of those people had 1, 2, or 3 kids.....all of them were newborns when they got them! They were beautiful children that left me feeling very hopeful. We are hoping to be matched with a newborn or toddler (aged 0 to 2) within the next 6 months.

to all of us!

I'll be doing my 8th cycle of home insems this month, geez can't believe it will be number 8. If I don't get pregnant this month I have to go in for a follow up appointment with my doctor. Kind of worried about that because I'm sure he'll say it's time to move on to IUI's and using frozen donor sperm rather then my donor. I'm on 50mg clomid days 3-7 and will be having an u/s Sunday to see where I am.
I'm starting to think this is never going to work.

DP and I have been TTC #2 for 14 Months - unmedicated IUIs.

DD is now 2.5 years old and our TTC#1 journey was only 2 months long. This has been more frustrating for us.

This is the first month for Clomid 50mg and now just waiting for a positive OPK to surge on my own.

We are on our second donor and hoping for another blessing.

I decided to add to our lives by taking a guitar course this fall. DD has been great by asking for me to play her songs as an addition to the night time routine. Her plan is to prolong the routine but she doesn't yet realize I am starting the routine earlier

TTC for 4 years 2 of them via DI.
Had 3 natural DIUI cycles,
3 Clomid DIUI cycles
1 Injectable/trigger cycle

All BFN but no reason why I ovulate like clockwork, normal P4, no adhesions, perfect clear tubes, no PCOS, all hormones throughout cycle perfect.

Only thing clinic can suggest is my weight, I am 312lbs. So after losing 100lbs on 2 occasions during ttc and putting it all back on I made the major decision to have weight loss surgery which I had 8/17/04 have lost 8lbs in 6 days so far since op.

We will get back to ttc in 12 months time when my weight stabalises at a healthy weight.

Live in Inverness, Scotland, have 2 Yorkies and 2 cats and am a Nurse.
