Sorry my question wasn't very clear.. but you ladies have answered it anyways!! I was wondering if you continue to get a positive OPK until you ovulate... I know that you ovulate 24 - 48 hours after your first positive OPK... however I usually have a positive kit for about 2 days. So I should time my IUI's based on the first OPK correct? So in theory, the test line should be gone (or very light) by the time you ovulate, correct? I hate these OPK's... I usually have too many questions about the results each month!!

The OPK gets lighter as the LH hormone leaves your system...once it peaks (you get a positive OPK) and them it beings to drastically decrease and SOMETIME after the positive surge you will ovulate within 48 hours....

I got 2 +s last month 1 on the 11th 1 on the 12th and I O'd on the 13th. I am also chartng my temp that is how i know exaclty what day i Oed. we are trying for a girl in which you are saposed to stop BD the day before Oing so i am not 100% depending on te opk's.
Are you charting ? If not maybe try it for a month or 2 and try to get a feel for when you O after the opk. Good luck.
