Default Ouch

Tonight's shot HURT down deep and bled when I pulled the needle out. It was easy to contain with a band-aid, but last night's did not hurt at all. Tonight and the night before I worked out just before doign the shot - last night I did not. When I was TTCing before, I never had any problems and it never hurt, but there was always an hour ro so in netweebn working out and shooting up. Has anyone else ever seen this happen? Should I nix working out for now? Have I wasted two nights worth of very expensive shots??

Are you numbing the area? When I numbed, I didn't bleed. You also could have hit something to cause the bleeding. I don't think it has anything to do with working out. You have not wasted the meds.

Good luck!

I never gave my own needles hubby always did it but sometimes he hit a vein and others he did not...even giving out shots sub-q..meds are definitely not wasted though! I give hubby shots bi-weekly of testosterone and they are IM (hate doing it with a passion) but quite often I hit a vein and have to try aagain..sometimes he says he never feel it and others he jumps like I have stabbed him...makes me feel so bad...just a matter of where you do it i guess - every time is so different!

*Working out will not make a difference either...

Hmmm....

Not sure why it would hurt like that. Maybe you should work out and then wait a longer time before shooting up. Your muscles and blood supply were all boosted up when you did it and that's probably why it hurt more. I'm praying for healthy follies for you.
