Default Peri-Menopause

Well, my lining was homogenous and I had absolutely no signs of anything on either ovary. The RE feels that I am in peri-menopause and my ovaries have begun to shut down. She said the only way to confirm it is to get a solid CD3 FSH, so she told me to take Povera again starting on September 16 and then come in on CD3 for b/w. It may be articficially low due to the Provera, but she says if it is "high" then it will confirm the diagnosis. My choices then will be donor egg or adoption.

My advice to all of you ladies with daughters:

TELL YOUR DAUGHTERS NOT TO WAIT!!!! You never know when your chance to have a child is gone. I would trade my Master's Degree for a second child in a minute!

OK, I'll get off my

now. I wish I had a nickel for every time someone told me "you have plenty of time".

I am so sorry for your news. Maybe it isn't that and it is something else treatable. I'll be saying a prayer for you.
