Question Question about Menopur

I am stimming starting tomorrow and my RE originally prescribed 375 Gonal F and 75 Menopur. Well, Dr. Silber called me today and said that at a conference he attended last week it was revealed that there has been an error in the information provided on Menopur and that it does not contain as much HCG as was originally disclosed and as a result, he has changed my dosing to 225 iu each Gonal F and Menopur. Anyone else here of such a thing?

They also said I could switch to Repronex, but I have already purchased the menopur and have heard it is less irritating.

Default ? on meds

Hi LP, I am a few weeks behind you, but was told to get Gonal-F and EITHER repronex or menopur...my NP said they are the same in terms of responses. I got Repronex, just because a friend had leftovers...I hope it isn't more irritating!!!

Hope that helps, good luck!
Bonnie
