Julie,

I am so sorry for what you are going through. I understand how painful that rollercoaster is, and I think a break, however brief or long you want it to be, is a great idea both physically and emotionally.
I just received my BFN today, so while I didn't have the same ups and downs as you this time, I can relate to the sentiments you expressed. Hang in there and know that you are not alone.

Rhonda

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it.

I've been off licking my wounds and am feeling a little better. DH has been totally sweet, bringing me chocolate, flowers, a bottle of wine. We're doing our best to have a nice holiday. This has got to be one of the worst things I've gone through in a while though - I feel like someone's ripped out my heart, torn it an half and stuffed it back in. And I am well aware that my story isn't even that bad - some of you have been through so much more.

I don't know if we'll do another cycle and am just taking some time to think about it. I know DH would rather not, but he's giving me the final choice. As some of you already know, money is a real issue for us. I'm also considering a less expensive clinic, although I really liked Boston IVF and feel comfortable there. Also, yesterday I saw a posting for my dream job - what timing, eh? So I'm contemplating the very real possibility of not having a child too.

So...hanging in there. I hope all of you have a good holiday and will be keeping you in my thoughts.

Well take your time Julie to figure it out. We could afford this either. We took out a gigantic 2nd mortgage on our house and are just making the interest payments. It's a real struggle, especially with me being in the joint. Glinda's clinic was cheaper, you could look into that. So how do you make a pomegranite martini? L
