Default Rough Morning

Ugh, I innocently check my email this morning & have 2 emails slap me in the face!

The first was from my brother (6 yrs younger) and his wife giving us the link to see her pg belly pictures. The second was from dh's brother (3 yrs younger) telling us that he and his wife just found out they are having a girl! Both of these siblings will be having the first grandchild on the respective sides of the family. DH & I are both the oldest, so we expected to have the first grandchild on both sides!

I could have handled either one of these emails on its own, but both of them at once just put me over the edge. I'd like to blame my emotional state on the clomid that I'm taking,
but I think I would have been a basket case even without the clomid. No response is really necessary...I just needed to let it out before I burst out crying here at my desk at work!

I can totally relate to this. My SIL (the same age as me) got pregnant with her second child the first month she went off BCP's while I was struggling and spending over $3K per cycle. This is my baby brother's wife! That pregnancy announcement was a rough one to get excited over.

It's everywhere when you are dealing with infertility, and it's one of the hardest and cruelest parts of infertility.

Boy, can I relate to that!!! So many friends got pg at the same time (they all gave birth between Oct - Dec. 2004) and I seriously thought I was going to die from being so heartbroken. I'm sorry that you had to hear it........TWICE.

Even now, pg women seem to be everywhere. It's just different for me now, but I will never, EVER, EVER forget that pain.
