Default Should my progesterone level be checked?

Hello ladies,
I just had my first cycle of treatment. The doctor started me on Letrozole (lke Clomid) days 5,6,7,8,9 2.5mg. I didnt respond to tha,t so had to take it again 5.0mg days 16,17,18,19, 20 (stair-stepping). Then, I went in for an ultrasound and they gave me a trigger shot on cd 23. They told me to come in 16 days if I dont get my period. My question is why are they not having me come in sooner to check my progesterone level. My luteal phase is about 12 days, and I fear my progesterone may be too low. Thank you very much for all your help.

to TBC! If you'd like your progesterone checked, call and asked your OB to check it. Mine was always open to my questions and worries.

Keep us posted!

Your doctor probably won't check progesterone unless you show clear signs that it is a problem.

I'll agree, if you want it checked, or are worried at all, just have your RE check it. That's their job!

Best of luck.
