Default So, here is my Q

My US today showed 3 potential follies at 9, 11 & 13. There was no one I could talk to because of it being the weekend and on skeleton staff. The US tech told me to skip tomorrow and we'll see measurements on Monday & BW results. So, if i had a high FSH amt on day 3, but am growing 3 follicles, is it likely they will grow but not release eggs, or what happens?

I know it is an indication of egg reserve & quality but doesn't a follicle equate to an egg? I don't know, I so hope I can talk to somone on Monday...I feel like I am in the dairy section on a hot day in july and my expiry date is coming up...any day now I'll be stuck in the discount bin

I have that same feeling, like I'm about to go sour

I've not got any hard info for you, but the stuff I've found in research says that follies do not always = eggs. It's possible that a follie could have more than 1 egg, or no eggs at all, but the usual is one eggie per follie. I've found nothing that says FSH levels directly effect egg production. Usually, high FSH is a symptom of poor quantity/quality, rather than the cause. I think and I emphasise THINK that E2 levels are a better indicator of whether or not eggies are present, and how they're doing. But bear in mind meds play a huge role in E2 #'s. For example clomid ups them and Femera lowers them.

Bottom line, I think having 3 follies with FSH levels like that is amazing and a very good sign. Yes, you may be running out of time, but your not ready for the discount bin yet.
