I'm feeling a bit more optimistic today, so I say if you have a dream, fight for it!!

Adoption can be just as expensive, emotionally draining, uncertain and time consuming as infertility treatments. Figure out what is most important to you, (being a mom, being pg, not going into debt) then factor in how much you can endure and don't give up.

You've heard it before, and I know it makes you sick to hear it, but it is true, time is on your side. I wish I had that luxury. You could take time off to save $$ for other treatments, or adoption, and your young enough I'd bet you could get into a shared risk IVF program with no problem. Will it be easy, no. In fact it's probably going to be hell no matter what path you choose, but that's the lot we've been given. You are stronger than you think. All we can do is try to make the best of it and not give up.

Now remind me of all of this next month will ya?

ok will do! i don't think we'll ever do IVF because of the sheer distance to get there. DH has totally shut the door on that, but not on adoption. we'll probably keep up the IUI's but will be looking further into adoption as time goes on without results. either way, its going to cost money and be draining. i used to be so focused on being pregnant, but what i really want is a family to share my life with-and dh wants that too. he's being SO supportive throughout this
