Default Something to think about

Sometimes I come up with weird thoughts and must ponder them. I thought we could ponder together

.

I'm not sure if this has come up before. I thought of it as I was reading Rhonda's comment on another thread about her friend calling her son her precious popsicle. The first child was from the fresh cycle and the popsicle was from a FET. Okay, here's the weirdness and the pondering.....even though the children are 2 years apart, they are really twins. Weird, huh? If I hadn't m/c on my fresh cycle, Arianna and Spencer could actually be part of a triplet group. Some fraternal twins look so much alike that people think they are identical twins. Imagine 2 or more children born several years apart that looked identical.

Thank you for letting me share my weirdness with you

Well I don't know because they are separate eggs and if that were true then even though my brother and I are 5 years apart then we would be twins because we can from the same ovary. Hmmm...I think you just cook them at the same time more than they're really true twins. Just my thoughts. Leslie

It's a good thought Glinda but I think I have to agree with Leslie. I think twins are twins because of the fact that they are carried together. That is what makes them special (atleast with fraternal twins). Is it possible for an egg to split while it is still in the test tube? If so, then you could have identical twins born at seperate times.

It can happen several years apart in natural birth also. I have three sisters and two of are so close in looks that my Uncles sometimes can't tell us apart!
