Out of interest - have they said with the study when the results will be known or what they will do with them? Does your clinic think they're moving towards single embie transfers for the whole of the Uk? I remember our consultant seemed to think that was on the not too distant horizon when we were discussing our cycle with him this time last year so I find it v.interesting that this study is being done atm.

Hi there,

Dont know when the studies will be published but when they are will be in most medical obygn journals I would have thought but I will ask my clinic. And yes the UK is going to move to law saying only 1 embryo as the cost of multiples to the NHS is apparently huge. I dont know if I agree or not. I kind of feel more intervention is needed not less. I have had 12 DIUI cycles with the UKs conservitive protocols, only 1 follie grown, natural cycles if possible, only half a million sperm per insemination and all BFNs I kind of feel annoyed to move to full IVF when I really do not think there is anything wrong with me or any need when a more rigourous IUI cycle with more follies, closer moonitoring and more sperm would work!

What do you guys think?
