Ok after a couple of funny conversations, we finally got my bloodwork to the right doc/nurse.

Since this was the first clomid cycle - we did the cd 23 bloodwork - it was way to low so we are increasing the clomid dosage. Only difficult because I didn't want to drive the 1 each way to do the blood work in my RE's system - instead I did it locally - saves me time and money on insurance. But that means they can't look up the results and make a decision. So I had to call my normal doc and request the results be sent so we wouldn't miss the cd5 cycle this month. Fortunately I know my Doc pretty well and she helped send the file to my RE. She knows we are doing this and talks about it during our visits for normal stuff.

So we up'ed the dosage to 100mg each day - I am just hoping that won't also increase the side effects. I only had minor discomfort on left side that was consistent after starting the meds.

I did really like that I could call and ask the RE/Nurse what the results meant and why they changed the meds. I did that after I looked it up in the medical books here at home so it was nice to have their info match

silly huh?

Now we are just waiting for the next +OPK.

Hi!

I am always on 100mg of Clomid so I don't know any difference. I hope you don't have any bad side effects (I never did if that makes you feel better!)

Let's hope #11 is the charm...

When I took clomid, I also was on 100 mg. I live for discomfort on my sides when cycling

. It tells me that things are growing in my ovaries (and hopefully not cysts). My biggest complaint with clomid was the mood swings. I only had it one cycle though. I also ended up producing a mammoth cyst but again that was only one cycle.

Good Luck.

The month I did the clomid challenge I took 100mg and had uncomfortable follical pains (that were really fabulous once I realized what it was!) The month I took 50mg of Clomid, I didn't notice any pains and only had one good sized follical when in went in for my day 12 u/s. I bet the 100mg will be a good thing for you!
