Default Time frame for meds after BFP??

How long into your pregnancies did you stay on progesterone and estrogen?? I take the vagina mints 2/day and still give the shot 1/day, plus estrogen 2mg 3/day....I just had blood work done and my Progesterone was 30.8 and estrogen was 1159...

I did three mints a day plus one shot of prog, 2 shots a week for estrogen until the start of 13 weeks. I ran out of something, I can't remember which so they said to go ahead and stop a few days early. They said there is no research as to the effectiveness after 10 weeks anyway. JOKERS! What are you suppose to do? The mints were sooo gross! Leslie

Hi Bonnie I don't have experience in regards to your question but I'm curious about progesterone. How much mg in total are you taking a day?

Leslie sounds like you were on a higher dose. How much progesterone were you taking daily in total? Just curious, cause My doc said on previous cycles my lining only would reach around 7mm. I was wondering if he would increase my progesterone if I tried another cycle.
Thanks
Mary-Ellen

My lining got way thicker the second time with lots of acupuncture first. I had 3 vagina mints at 200mg each then one cc shot a day. Kind of a lot I thought. Good luck.

hi bonnie, My obgyn said that after 10 weeks your placenta makes up enough progesterone you should not need to continue. My clinic told me to stay on it till 12 weeks, but they are always extra safe on that stuff. I weaned off my estrogen around 10 weeks too. How are you feeling with the progesterone? Any sickness, my doc swore I was so sick from the progesterone, and the second I stopped I felt way better. Everyone is different obviously though. DO you have an us today too?
