I'm sorry Marie. I have been thinking about you- realizing it has been a while since I've seen you posting on the board. The sadness sometimes seems unbearable...

Marie--
I am soooooooooooo sorry. I tried ICSI w/ DH (both fresh and FET) that didn't work. We could not afford another $20K to do it again and insurance didn't kick in for a year. We wanted a baby in our arms. So we turned to DI and were blessed w/ a healthy baby. If you ask me today if I regret my decision, the answer is no. I don't even think anything other than DH being his daddy. So...if your DH and you are up for it, DI is such a good option...a very personal decision. Nobody knows our situation and DS is just the light of our lives. I hope I can give him a sibling soon. Anyway just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in your journey. As long as the destination is a baby...maybe it's time to re-evaluate DI. Just a thought coming from someone who has been there. I hope Charlie and my angel are at least friends up in Heaven...looking down on us and spreading baby dust our way. ((HUGS))

I know several women who did IVF and then "fell back on" IUIs during a break to save up money. Well their dreams came true. I see no reason why it can't happen for you.

Good Luck.

Marie, I am just heartbroken for you, too. I often wonder why women like us have to deal with so much disappointment year after year. I know Charlie is looking out for you and being persistent will get you that baby of your dreams. Hang in there sweetie.....
