Default Waiting

Well, I am done with the Provera and waiting for AF. Then we'll do the CD3 b/w to see if I am in early menopause. I just paid some lab bills the other day, and they clearly said "FSH" on them. I have had b/w about five times since last December and wouldn't they have noticed if it was high before now?? The RE told me that a random FSH of 40 or above indicated peri-menopause; if any of my tests were off the wall, wouldn't they have said something?

I'd call and speak to the nurse to ask for my past results, but every time I call to speak to a nurse she just tells me to make an appointment with the RE. So I guess I'll just keep waiting. I really want my old RE in Virginia back! I trusted him and he didn't have to read his notes to remember what my treatment was.

It always used to make me mad that I felt I had to ask for b/w results...they should be shared openly with the patient and explained fully..none of this "everything was fine" non-descript answers...

Hoping AF comes quickly (used to take me up to 2 weeks or more sometimes)...

Well I did not have to wait long - AF came today. I will go in for b/w on Friday and hopefully I will have some answers!

Thanks everyone for your well wishes!

I am praying that your cd3 levels look healthy and awesome. I'm sorry that this RE's office doesn't seem as compassionate. You really need and deserve that compassion and attention to detail right now!
