Well, I have to give credit where credit is due. I called the pharmacy, explained that I could not drive to the phramacy, and one of the pharmacists saw my address and brought the needles to my house! I expected them to call in a script to a local pharmacy but that was even better! So we are all stocked for the duration. I think the drugs are working since I am getting that "achy" ovaries feeling.

Glinda, thanks for the info on California insurance - I was not aware of that. However, my company is self-insured and therefore not bound by ANY state insurance coverage laws. They do not even cover IVF in states where it is mandated. Also, since they cover u/s and b/w and all testing, they technically do provide "diagnosis and treatment". I know I am luckier than some with at least that coverage.

BTW, I live about 20 miles from Mexico. Senior citizens take buses down to Tijuana all the time to buy drugs. Do you think I could get this stuff in Mexico cheaper? If it was the same stuff would it make a difference?

I go in Thursday afternoon for an u/s, and Friday for my HSG. Thanks everyone! This group is on a roll and I want a ride on that train!

Someone who used to post on this board lives in Arizona. She drove into Mexico for her meds. The meds worked for her. Personally, I'd be wary of meds from Mexico as I do not know where they are manufactured. I previously ordered my meds from England. I think you had also done that at one point.

OMGosh Rachel! What a nightmare! That would've been hard enough WITHOUT a toddler in tow!

I'm so glad that you got that worked out!

Personally, I would consider buying meds in Mexico as they are probably manufactured in the same place, but I would check on that first. Just be careful coming back across. Not sure of the legals on bringing them back across the border.

GOOD LUCK this cycle!!!!
