Leslie,

I am so happy for you....what great news. I can't believe your hcg is so high...here's hoping for multiples

It's funny how well you know your body. You were positive (without even taking any tests) that you are pg. How long do you have to wait to see how many? Keep us informed as to how you are doing. Congrats Missy

Thanks everyone. I KNOW! 667! I'm glad it wasn't one point lower... Eeek! Anyway, isn't it so high? They put in three. I go back on Monday for the second Hcg test. Does anyone have any ideas on the super high number? I'm really hoping it's not triplets!!!!! I'm not sure when my ultrasound is yet but I'm just so excited I don't even care...

First of all.........CONGRATULATIONS!!! Secondly, hcg numbers can be deceiving. Women with super high numbers don't always have multiples. Also FETs sometimes start out with lower numbers than pgs from fresh cycles. My first beta with this FET was 101, then 205 then 435. I was just thrilled that my first beta made it to 100. My dr said it was a singleton. It turned out that I'm pg with twins. You wouldn't have thought so with my numbers. Anyhow, it is very possible that you had more than 1 embryo implant. What I do know is that you have a very very very healthy beta.

Wishing you continued good news

P.S. go to

There is a chart with ranges of betas. There is also a hcg calculator so you can figure out your doubling time.

Thanks Glinda and congrats to you on your twins. Thanks for the website too. I was actually worried that my number was too high and that meant something weird. You should write a "girlfriends' guide to IVF"! I just can't believe after 15 years that I'm actually pg!!! Thanks again all you lovely ladies. You've been soooo great. Leslie
