I'm so happy.

DH calls me and tells me that his liver enzymes are elevated (again) and that given that, plus his dad's history, they bumped him to the next category and it's going to be $9 more a month to insure him. So we're paying it, and we're both insured now.

Anyway, the question is what can we do to help bring down those liver enzymes? All the stuff I read is about elevated liver enzymes tied with either high cholesterol, obesity, alcohol consumption, NONE of which dh has. He is 6 ft 4 and weighs like 185 lbs, is in good shape, etc. i'm just not sure how to help him.

I have a coworker that had elevated liver enzymes and the Dr had him tested for alot of things. I know he put him on some sort of cleasning type thing and then retests him every 6 months or so now. It seemed to have worked for him because he said he's not having any problems.

I was going to suggest the same thing that Susan did- a liver cleanse?
