Sugar free and fat free can both be disgustingly high in calories. thats where you really need to check the labels. And the artifical crap they put in the low sugar/fat things can have some pretty unpleasant side effects

The best way to go is try to find all natural things. try Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and even Raleys (AKA Belair or Nob Hill) has a large all natural section

SUGAR FREE....sugar is very high in calories and LOW FAT does not mean NO FAT - just below a certain level.

That's what I was thinking. We went grocery shopping last night and I was really looking at labels, there was fat free pudding that had a whopping 15g of sugar, whereas the sugar-free had only 1.5g of fat. I had never paid attention to that before, to think I may have been sabotaging myself all this time! How misleading!
