Default Baby Shower

I will be hosting a baby shower for my SIL in October and I am needing ideas. She is having twin girls and wants to use pastel colors instead of a theme. So any ideas that you would use for this shower? I am making a diaper cake and hanging a clothes line but I need some game ideas and favor ideas.

my favorite game ever at a baby shower was silly.

there was a bag of cotton balls scattered on the floor. Each person one at a timehad to come kneel on the floor, put a large tupperware bowl on their head, and then, while blindfolded and with a large cooking spoon in their hand, try and scoop as many cotton balls up and put them int the bowl as they could in 60 seconds.

It was hysterical because you can't feel, or hear the cotton balls so alot of people scoop just air

I LOVED it.

Also have done the other standards.

- baby gift bingo
- blind taste test of baby food (remove the babyfood jars and get out the popcycle sticks to test/taste)
- guess the dirty diaper (you melt various candy bars into a diaper and they have to guess what candy bar it was)
-clothes pin and don't 'cross your legs'.
- guess the string length around the belly
- oh, I did a diaper change relay for my SIL. That was hysterical since it was a jack/jill party. I had everyone get into 2 teams. I had 2 baby dolls and a pack of diapers and baby wipes and baby powder for each team. They did a relay to diaper the baby, run back, tag the next person... take off the old diaper, wipe, powder, and diaper the doll, then run back etc... that was probaby #2 in hillarity for games and I even got the reluctant biker dads to participate all in good fun.

lets see ... what else?

oh, if you do the candy bar game, you can give everyone a candy bar as a favor

My friend recently had a baby shower and her Mom bought pastel color chinese takeout boxes, she filled them with homemade goodies...I loved it!
She had homemade cookies in there as well as homemade chocolate lolipops (which are super easy to make, they sell the supplies at most craft stores) I thought it was a practical (everyone eats lol) and fun party favor.
