Default How do you think this was put together?

This looks like a neat idea to try with some thrift store cashmere stuff.

Is the stitching coverstitch, do you think? If I used a plain serger, do you think it would not work as well?

It acutally looks more flatlocked vs. coverstitched. The reason why I'm thinking flatlocked is because the edge of the fabric is just slightly raised off the other fabric. When I tried flatlocking a few weeks ago the seam did the same thing. It had a little lip there.

I'd try flatlocking on some scraps and see if it gives you the same look. I'm pretty sure it will!

If you can't find it let me know and I can look up how to do it. It was very easy!
