I switch my settings and needle positions constantly! It wasn't much of a switch to take a needle out, crank the remaining needle tension down the right looper up and sew. The tricky part was remembering to put the pieces wrong sides together. It took all my mental power to not put them right sides together!!!
I have a 5 thread machine, so I switch things back and forth all the time during projects! 5 thread setting to 4 thread safety stitch, to a 3 thread rolled hem and then back to a 5 thread setting To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 15 or greater. Have fun!
ETA: My friend also has a yr old girl! She's the one I made the yellow cross over one piece outfit for with the striped bindings!
