My Aunt must have been clearing out my grandmothers closet or something....

She sent a bag over with my dad which contained about 17, yes SEVENTEEN, pillowcases. There are a few with zippers (maybe they're pillow covers?) and there's 1 with some flowers on it... but most plain white pillowcases... nice ones though.

SO... anybody have any cool ideas for me?? I was thinking maybe I could make them into cinch backpacks or something... I have lots of nieces/nephews & could probably tie die/personalize them as Christmas presents. But, that's all that came to mind!!

If I can't find anything interesting (and relatively EASY) to do with them... I'll probably just donate them to the cat care coalition in my town since they ask for bedding for the cats cages sometimes.

Are any of the nieces little? Pillowcase dresses could be cute! They are a beginner project and very easy to make. For older girls they could wear them as tunic tops!

I like lauras Idea, I bought 2 pillow cases to do that for my DDs and havn't got my machine out to do it, but I also like the idea of bags, and tie dyeing them we did that this summer with the library.

Here is a pillow case dress. They are super cute. I wish I could make them!
