Oh, cutting up the magazines and putting them in a binder is a good idea. I think I will do that. Thanks.

My problem is I look at the toys and think, if we have another baby, they will use all these toys that Benjamin has outgrown...ahhh!

That is why we've kept them around this long, but I think us having a 2nd baby is never going to happen. We put a lot of stuff up in the attic, but the attic is getting so full right now. If we do ever have another we'll just get some different things. I'm not ready to get rid of the crib or anything "special" yet though.

Oh, the toys!! We're being overrun with toys--and I think the same thing about future babies. "Sarah and Char loved those little toys so I need to keep them for the next baby." When in reality, they only loved those toys for about a week and then they ended up in the bottom of a bin somewhere.

I need to break that cycle.

Emery...really good ideas on the magazines...I had thought of doing a recipe scrapbook so this could be a way to get the raw material! And the toys, yes, it is so flippin embarrasing

I went to a child rearing seminr and the leader suggested rotating toys and I thought that is a good idea, but I never got around to it

And ditching the baby things has an emotional element as well, we are still TTC and I have this side that worries if I get rid of the toys, I am giving up...does that make sense what I am describing? This weekend, hopefully we will be back online at home and I'm going to try and get some "before" pictures.

I should take pictures of all the toys and what a mess it all is.

I had such great expectations of organizing today and then a friend called and asked if we wanted to meet them for lunch and shopping at the mall. We were out of the house so fast.
