Default confused?

ok so ava was a summer baby, so i never used a onesie when we came home from hospital. With Gavin being winter, can i put a onesie on him under his clothes before his umbilical cord falls off, or do you need to wait till it falls off to put a one sie on? this whole boy and taking care of a penis is starting to scare me.

Anthony was born in december and it's cold here so he was wearing a onesie, warm one piece sleeper and a snow suit

the only thing was that the NICU would not let me put the snowsuit on him when we strapped him in to the carsat b/c of safety b ut we put it on him later

oh and i was scared of taking care of a boy too but it came natually and we didn't have any problems

I'm sure you're fine using a onesie on him. Don't freak about the boy thing. Circumcision wounds are really scary looking, but don't seem to be terribly uncomfortable for the baby. And it totally heals up in a few days, so that's not so bad.

Even though B was a summer baby, we had him in a sleeper, or a onesie even before the cord stump came out.. We had to keep him warm all the time because he was so tiny and always cold. We didn't do the circumcision thing so we never saw all that, but I think cleaning a boy is so easy and now having a girl freaks me out, changed my friends daughter and all those extra folds and stuff, I think are much harder!

us too farah..michael was born early and they didn't want to circumsize him until he was 2 months old...by that time, i couldn't bear the thought of him feeling pain. so, now at 5 years old, his skin is almost fully retrachable and he has never once had a infection. what ever your choices are, i think that a boy is easier to clean! im kinda wierded out by the idea of cleaning a girl. my friend has a baby girl and it gives me the hibbie gibbidies when she cleans her!
