Question First U/S today.

Hi there! Went for my first u/s today. 7 wks 3 days. Dr. saw a yolk sac and a fetal pole, but no heartbeat yet. Sending me for progesterone and hcg tests. I am going back for another u/s next Tuesday.

Has anyone else been this far along with the same results? He thinks I may actually be earlier in my pregnancy simply because of the 72-hour window of conception.

How far along did you measure? The only early ultrasounds we've had have been during the pregnancies that we knew weren't going to last so the earliest I've seen the heartbeat is about 8 weeks, I think.

I'm going tomorrow for the first one with this one and hoping to see a heartbeat.

Hopefully your hcg numbers will show growth and there will be a heartbeat next week.
Did they do a regular or transvaginal u/s?
