  • So, my cousin in law was diagnosed with an inopperative brain tumor a few months ago and it isn't responding the the chemo/radiation. I got an email this morning that he's on Hospice and doesn't have long. While I'm not tight with them, I'd like to see him and the family and be supportive if I can. But DH really doesn't want me to fly. He's nervous about something happening. It is a 1.5 hour flight, not long and the doc said she'd be okay with it unitl 36 weeks, but I'm also not completely comfortable with being away from my safe haven. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I hate these dilemmas.

I am so sorry to hear about your cousin. I hope that you can make a decision that feels right. I think personally I would go as long as my doctor said it was okay, but I believe you said your son came early, so maybe that isn't the best idea???

  • Awwh Laura, that's so sad. I think I would feel comfortable enough flying until 36 weeks... hope you can make a decision that will make you happy!

If it's a short trip and a short flight, I would probably risk it, as long as my doctor felt it was ok.
