getting closer than i thought... January

i had a really hard night last night with painful contractions and unbelieable pressure. i didt call my OB until early this morning because i was waiting to see if i had a consistency with the contractions.
OB wanted to see me. he told me that i may not make it to january, and so he wants me to take the Procardia every 4 hours instead of 6. i told him that last night i felt something "drop" when i was sitting down to use the restroom (sorry TMI) and he said that he did not want to check me in case it progresses things. it could be the baby dropping or getting in position. he didnt feel my belly or anthing to see if that was the case.
so, i am back at home now and with strict instructions not to get up uncessarily. i go back on monday for another check and then he said he might just have me come in weekly and skip the bi-weekly. he wont know until he sees me again.

so, i am a little nerve racked and hoping i can hold out until after christmas. he assured me that she would certainly live, but may need help breathing and eating if born before 34 weeks.

but, i am looking on the brightside. i started having problems at 22 weeks and i am already 31.4. thats some progress!
