Default not sure what to do

Ugh! Sometimes my body is such a mystery.

With the past 2 pregnancies (like I said before) I have been in early labor for several weeks. What happens is at night I have "contractions." I put it that way because it's not something that comes and goes- but it pretty much unbearable for 2 or so hours, with maybe a couple minutes in between where I can get a small amount of relief. So it happened on Sunday night, and then last night it was *really* bad. I was up from 11pm till about 2:30, then finally got comfortable enough in the chair to go to sleep. During the day I have the occasional contraction, but nothing as intense as at night.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, and I'm going to tell her all this, but I feel stupid because I can't really "time" them and they come and go. At the same time, I know that 3rd labors can go fast, and I really don't feel like giving birth in my car.

I just can't believe after all this time it's still all so confusing.

That's not funny!

I have everything all set up for tomorrow night (when I have the whole family over and cook) just in case she says I have to go over to the hospital. I'm not too sure why I'm thinking that everyone's going to be having Christmas Eve while I'm in the hospital, but it's going to be ready to go!

The problem is that she will send me straight to L&D I think. She is very much an "err on the side of caution" doctor and I don't want to spend the night in L&D if I don't have to. My appt is tomorrow at 11:45. Hopefully the contrax aren't too bad tonight.
