How's DH doing? Has it hit him yet?

My DH is finally coming around. We were in total denial most of the first tri to be honest but now that I'm in mat clothes and I speak of the baby kicking, he's like oh yeah, we're pregnant!

He did say he had a dream it was a boy, that is the first mention that he's brought up on his own. I thought it was funny...

My DH has yet to feel the baby (think his hands are numb or something). I don't think it's hit him to much yet though.

My Dh hasn't been in denial that we are pg since the beginning, but I think he is in denial when it comes to how much things are gonna be different after the baby comes. He goes off w/his buddies to "play" a lot, especially since the weather is getting warmer-he wants to ride his motorcycle all the time. He says it will be different when the baby comes, but we'll see. We haven't started painting the room yet, but he did finally get a piece of furniture out of there. Oh, and the sleep. I keep telling him sleep as he knows it is going to change. But he does mention stuff about how he wants our daugther to take karate, learn how to drive a stick, change the oil and a tire, fish, hunt, etc. And sometimes at night when we are reading in bed, he will put his hand on my belly. And he has been pretty good about learning about gestational diabetes.

DH is totally great and very aware - he often offers to cook dinner and similar to give me a break. He's so sweet.
