Default Pregnancy Book Recommendations...

Hi there, if you're on your first pregnancy and are anything like me then you probably have already got a few books about this special 9 months.

If you've read or bought a book and think others would find it informative, interesting or even just funny, then list it here!

I like "The Best Friends' Guide to Pregnancy: Or Everything Your Doctor Won't Tell You" (Paperback)

(£6 from Amazon.co.uk $16.30 from Amazon.com)

It's a light-hearted but no-secrets guide to pregnancy. Written by Vicki Iovine, she's gathered up her own experiences with those of other people who have experienced pregnancy (referred to in the book as "Friends"). Real women having real pregnancy in the real world!

No pretty pictures, so no good if you want to see pictures of your developing baby, but better about telling you the truth about having a baby!

I'd rate it 8/10

"What to Expect" is good for answering questions you might have. "The Thinking Woman's Guide to a Better Birth" is really informative and helpful, and "Your Pregnancy Week by Week" is really fun for seeing what your baby looks like and how big it is each week.
