  • Nursing is a little rocky right now. Because she was not with me for her first 20 hours she had to be supplement with formula to keep her blood sugar up. I started pumping but not getting anything. Not even colostrum. But since she came to our room I started nursing first and getting her to latch which she does amazing at but because she had formula she doesnt want to work for her food. I did get her to nurse this morning for 30 minutes though. Its just gonna be a long battle that I am determined to win. So as of now(until my milk comes in) I am putting her on the breast first forever how long she will stay there, then I give her a bottle.
