  • I had my (nasty) glucose test today. They told me the results would be in this afternoon and no news is good news (they said I can wait for a phone call, and if I don't get one that's good, otherwise to sign up for an on-line program thing that I can get my results there... I signed up and now I have to wait 3-5 days for a letter in the mail with my password!!! Ugh! So I guess I'm waiting for a phone call!)

Besides the glucose test, I had my nurse visit (I didn't see the Dr at all) and she talked to me about a bunch of stuff I already know about, considering I had a baby a year ago Friday! She also talked to me about pre-term labor bc both my kids were born early (5 and 3 weeks) Again, stuff I already knew about!

After the talking part, she measured my belly. I'm measuring right at 27 even though I'm almost 29 weeks. She didn't seem concerned though. Also, the HB was in the 150's, and baby was VERY active this morning! BP was good, and somehow I gained 2 pounds even though I was sick last week.

Then I went for my blood draw to test glucose and hemoglobin (iron), then got to go home from there!

NOTE: I just got a phone call saying my glucose was fine but my iron dropped from 12.7 to 10.2, but that my Dr is ok with that as long as I make sure to eat lots of peanut butter, red meat and leafy green veggies! Yay!
