Question What do you think?

Since Chandra has brought up the name subject I am gonna chime in. DH and I can not decide on a boy name. Picking our other two boys name was easy and had it decide way before the big US. But this one is not working out that way. We still dont know the sex and we do have a name for a little girl but the name we are leaning towards for a boy is Phoenix. I love this name always have but here is the thing. Last year our county got a new HS. This is where our kids will be going and they are the "Phoenix". Would that be to tramatic for a HS kid? Would you use the name anyways? The only other name that we have is Paxton and I am not 100% on it and neither is DH. What do you think? Need suggestions!

Hmmm... I can understand your concern. I have always loved the name Kendall for a girl, but it is a major street by our house- and I didn't feel comfortable with it- and DH didn't like it anyway. Honestly though if you guys both like the name- so what about the high school mascot? It might actually be COOL for your kid to have the same name as the mascot. What are you worrried about anyway? You are having a GIRL!!!!!!! What's the girl name, huh, huh, huh????????????????????????

I personally think it is a very nice name

As long as you and DH like it, who gives a flip what anyone else thinks.

who knows, you might not even live in the same town once he/she is old enough to go to HS...and then the name wouldnt matter.

when are you finding out the gender?!

I think if you guys really like it, then that's what matters! I don't see a big deal with the mascot thing.. but maybe a highschooler would? I would be more concerned about the older boys having hard P names vs. the F sound for Phoenix.. but I do like the name. And the more I think about Paxton, the more I liked it. What about Preston?
