Question Hi everyone~I'm new and desperately TTC!

Hi there! A friend of mine suggested I join the baby corner because she got a lot of support from it. I am, like so many others, TTC for 6 months and feel like I'm at my wit's end. I feel like I'm the only one sometimes and that it's consuming me so I feel like this could be an outlet and help me?

Anyone out there TTC, using OPKs, reading books and practically standing on your head after sex?

Thanks!
Colleen

My sister used the saliva test monitor and got pregnant within a couple of months.
Search for "saliva ovulation test" and if I am not mistaken, you can even purchase the kit online.

Good luck!

Yes, for some reason this method is not very popular, although is very accurate.

When a woman is about to ovulate, her saliva begins to form a distinct fern-like pattern (when viewed under a microscope) due to an increase in the level of estrogen present, which in turn causes and increase in salinity. Salinity, produces ferns. This ferning pattern begins to appear around 3 days prior to ovulation.

With the saliva testing kit, you can identify your ovulation date - your peak fertile time - by tracking your estrogen levels throughout your cycle. It allows you to easily view characteristic changes that occur in your saliva just prior to ovulation. When you see the crystal "ferning patterns", you know you are fertile.
